About The Position

The Department of Educational Psychology at Ball State University welcomes applications for a one-year contract faculty appointment. The successful candidate will teach graduate-level courses in Quantitative Methodology and Statistics for the 2026-27 academic year at the Assistant Teaching Professor level. Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Requirements

  • A PhD in a social science or closely related field
  • Demonstrated experience teaching both introductory and advanced graduate-level statistics courses.
  • Current authorization to be employed in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • A PhD in Educational Psychology, Developmental Psychology, or a closely related discipline.
  • Ability to teach both introductory and advanced graduate-level statistics courses, as well as educational psychology or human development courses, if needed.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach in both online and in-person formats.

Responsibilities

  • Teach graduate-level courses in quantitative methodology and statistics.
  • Teaching load consists of four courses across the fall and spring semesters.
  • Most statistics courses are delivered online; however, some courses may be scheduled in person.
