About The Position

The Department of Biology invites part-time adjunct faculty appointments to teach undergraduates course(s) as needed. Potential areas of instruction include Life Science Education, Anatomy, Introductory Biology, Physiology, Wildlife Biology Policy, Botany, Biotechnology and Zoology. Applications will remain active one year from the posting date. Adjunct faculty are limited to teaching up to 9 credit hours per semester. This position is NOT eligible for benefits. Candidates must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Requirements

• Masters Degree in Biology or related field by date of appointment.
• Current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

• Masters degree or higher in Biology or related field
• Teaching experience at university or college level.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in the Biology department.
• Teach lecture or lab sections potentially in Life Science Education, Anatomy, Introductory Biology, Physiology, Wildlife Biology Policy, Botany or Biotechnology and Zoology.
