About The Position
The College of Southern Nevada (CSN) is seeking a Part-Time Instructor for Korean in the World Languages department for Fiscal Year 2027. CSN is Nevada's largest college and one of the largest in the nation, operating in over 50 locations with 3 main campuses and multiple sites. As a comprehensive, multi-campus community college, CSN educates over 50,000 students annually and offers over 70 academic programs. Requirements
- Master's degree in Korean Language or Literature, Linguistics or Second Language acquisition from a regionally accredited College or University.
Nice To Haves
- Experience teaching Korean in higher education.
- Experience with computer-assisted instruction and interactive laboratories.
Responsibilities
- Teach college-level courses in the field.
- Develop syllabi and course materials.
- Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes.
- Provide an excellent teaching experience as well as student advisement, recruitment activities and program/curriculum development.
- Teach at multiple campuses in Clark County.
- Be available to teach day, evening and/or weekend courses.
