About The Position
The College of Southern Nevada (CSN) is seeking a part-time Instructor for Spanish in the World Languages department for Fiscal Year 2027. This role involves teaching college-level courses, developing syllabi and course materials, and evaluating student mastery of skills and competencies. The instructor will also be responsible for providing an excellent teaching experience, student advisement, recruitment activities, and program/curriculum development. Courses are taught at multiple campuses in Clark County, and instructors must be available to teach day, evening, and/or weekend courses.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Spanish Language or Literature, Linguistics or Second Language acquisition from a regionally accredited College or University.
Nice To Haves
- Experience teaching Spanish in higher education
- Experience with computer-assisted instruction and interactive laboratories

Benefits
- Salary: $925.00 per lecture credit hour. Credits will vary by semester.
