About The Position
The College of Southern Nevada (CSN) is seeking a part-time Instructor for Korean in the World Languages department for the FY 2027 academic year. This role involves teaching college-level Korean courses, developing course materials, evaluating student progress, and contributing to student advisement and program development. The instructor will teach at multiple campuses within Clark County and may be required to teach day, evening, and/or weekend courses.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Korean Language or Literature, Linguistics or Second Language acquisition from a regionally accredited College or University.

Nice To Haves
- Experience teaching Korean in higher education.
- Experience with computer-assisted instruction and interactive laboratories.
Responsibilities
- Teach college-level courses in the field.
- Develop syllabi and course materials.
- Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes.
- Provide an excellent teaching experience as well as student advisement, recruitment activities and program/curriculum development.
- Teach at multiple campuses in Clark County.
- Be available to teach day, evening and/or weekend courses.
