About The Position

The Department of Media is looking for people teaching as an Adjunct. Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited institution by date of appointment in one of the following areas; Telecommunications, Media, Radio and Television, Communication Studies or Speech Communication.
• Or Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution by date of appointment with at least 3 years of media related experience.
• Teaching experience in media related courses at the collegiate level.
• Current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Teach one to two classes in the Department of Media.
• Teaching assignment, if needed, may include courses in media production, sports production, media law, media ethics, media promotion, media management and broadcast news and sports journalism.
