About The Position
This is a full-time, twelve (12) month faculty position at the Paulding Campus. The role involves classroom and clinical/laboratory instruction and evaluation of student performance. Responsibilities include participation in the accreditation process, clinical activities, curriculum planning and implementation, academic advisement and registration, and serving on department and college committees. The instructor may also be required to teach across programs, serving both PN and ASN students, and perform other duties as assigned by the Dean and/or Program Director.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Nursing
- Current Georgia RN License in good standing
- Three years of work experience as a nurse within the past seven years
- Experience in Adult Medical-Surgical Nursing
- Experience in Mental Health nursing
- Basic level of computer skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience teaching in Adult Medical-Surgical Nursing
- Experience teaching in Mental Health nursing
- Knowledge of ACEN standards and criteria
- Master’s Degree in Nursing Education
