The Department of Anatomy, College of Graduate Studies, invites applications for a full-time (1.0 FTE), non-tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Instructor of Anatomy. The Department is responsible for teaching gross anatomy, histology, embryology, and neuroscience across multiple health professions programs. The instructor will primarily support the laboratory components of departmental courses, with a particular emphasis on gross anatomy using human dissection and prosection. Responsibilities include working closely with faculty and course directors to deliver high-quality laboratory instruction and student assessment. Candidates with experience in innovative teaching approaches, including e-learning, digital content development, flipped classroom methodologies, and the implementation of emerging technologies and artificial intelligence in education are especially encouraged to apply. Opportunities for classroom lecture delivery will be available based on departmental needs and the candidate's expertise. The successful candidate will receive mentorship in teaching, educational scholarship, and professional development. Participation in ongoing research projects or the development of an independent scholarly program in the anatomical sciences is encouraged. Support for attendance at anatomical and educational conferences is available. This position reports directly to the Chair of the Department of Anatomy.
