About The Position

An experienced HVAC technician with an active Massachusetts Oil Burner Certificate will teach students residential and commercial HVAC fundamentals and prepare them for careers in the skilled trades. The role offers a transition from daily service calls to classroom instruction, with paid instructor training provided; previous teaching experience is not required. The position has established day or evening schedules and is based in Brockton, Massachusetts.

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts Oil Burner Certificate.
• At least 3 years of hands-on HVAC service, installation, maintenance, or repair experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Understanding of residential and commercial HVAC systems.
• Clear communication skills and a patient, approachable personality.
• Interest in helping others learn and develop their skills.
• Pride in the HVAC trade and a desire to share trade knowledge.

Nice To Haves

• Teaching experience is not required; instructor training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Teach students the fundamentals of residential and commercial HVAC systems.
