About The Position
The College of Southern Nevada (CSN) is seeking a Part-Time Instructor for the Fine Arts Department, Art Program. This role involves conducting classes in a variety of art courses such as Drawing, Painting, Design, Ceramics, and Digital Imaging. Instructors are expected to participate in regular instructional meetings, professional development, and timely submission of required paperwork. Assignments, including courses, days, times, and locations, may vary each semester and can include classroom and online formats across CSN's campuses. Working hours may be any combination of morning, afternoon, or evening, and any days of the week, including weekends. Classes typically run for 8-16 weeks, 1-2 days per week, with each class lasting 1 to 3 hours.
Requirements
- Master of Fine Arts degree in art or related from a regionally accredited college or university.
Nice To Haves
- One year experience teaching.
