This position is responsible for delivering quality instruction in Emergency Medical Services (EMS). The role includes supporting curriculum development, assessment, and program evaluation; advising students; coordinating clinical site placements; and contributing to service activities that advance the mission of the College. The instructor will teach courses on-ground at the assigned campus/instructional site/work location, and may be assigned other instructional delivery modes such as online, hybrid, or web-enhanced, taught from the assigned campus/instructional site/work location, based on operational needs. The role involves working with course leads and/or program coordinators/directors to ensure consistent student experiences, utilizing the college’s learning management system, and submitting updated department syllabi and final grades by established deadlines. Additionally, the instructor will provide academic advising to students with an emphasis on retention and success, remain current in the teaching area through professional development, and complete all required reports and assessments.
