The Medical Assisting Clinical Coordinator will facilitate the learning of clinical and administrative competencies in curriculum courses. The instructor will assist the Chairperson in developing and delivering instructional plans to meet course competencies. The instructor will take on responsibility as Clinical Coordinator, establishing a strong relationship with clinical sites and obtaining new clinical sites. This role involves routinely reporting to the clinical site and evaluating students. The position requires demonstration of skills in communication, organization, and managing multiple priorities; the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, faculty, staff, community groups, clinical sites, and others; and demonstrated ability to work within a collaborative team environment. An ability to accommodate a flexible working schedule including evenings and weekends is necessary. Limited travel within the service area is expected.
