About The Position

The University of Arkansas is seeking an Instructor for Electrical Engineering for a 12-month appointment. This role involves teaching electrical engineering courses on both the Fort Smith and Fayetteville campuses, coordinating laboratory operations in Fort Smith, and providing academic advising to students at both locations. The position also includes serving as the on-site coordinator for the Fort Smith Electrical Engineering program and performing other related duties as assigned. As a 12-month appointment, the position requires teaching summer courses as needed and participating in engineering summer camps, outreach programs, and related activities. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in electrical engineering from an accredited institution of higher education, conferred by the start of employment
• At least one year of related experience in electrical engineering
• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
