About The Position

This is a nine (9) month position with subsequent summer contracts. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: teaching Computer Programs courses; developing instructional materials; advising students; assessing student learning; maintaining current knowledge of industry technologies; assisting with recruitment and retention; and participating in departmental, College, and community activities. Fulfill other responsibilities and duties as a curriculum faculty member and full-time employee, to include but not limited to other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Networking Technology, Cybersecurity, or a closely related field required.
• Relevant professional experience
• Effective communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Networking technology and Cisco experience
• Microsoft Office Specialist Certification
• Networking technology, Cisco networking Academy, routing and switching, network administration, or cybersecurity experience
• CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, Security+, or comparable industry certifications
