About The Position
The University of Tennessee Health Sciences College of Nursing is seeking a full-time non-tenure Instructor. UT Health Sciences embraces four missions: education, research, clinical care and institutional service.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Experience in recent acute care medical-surgical nursing is required.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse.
Nice To Haves
- Teaching experience in professional nursing programs is desired.
Responsibilities
- Teaching responsibilities include both didactic coursework and clinical supervision of students.
- Responsibilities for this role include clinical practice assignment in the hospital, and skills/simulation lab in addition to educational responsibilities.
- Research/scholarship activities and service responsibilities will be determined in collaboration with the Department Chair.
