Requirements
- PhD in Biological Sciences or related discipline. Senior doctoral candidates will be considered if no qualified applicants are found.
- Experience in teaching quantitative research methods.
- Prior teaching and/or research experience in the study of Biological Sciences.
- Evidence of competent and effective teaching experience at the undergraduate university level (letters of reference and course/performance evaluations).
Responsibilities
- Scheduled contact time with students
- Non-classroom time including preparation of lectures, student consultation, marking and grading, and course administration (grade appeals, academic dishonesty cases)
- Responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab in each course if employed in a 2-hour/week lecture or equivalent.
