About The Position

Seattle Pacific University invites applications for a full-time, 9-month faculty position in the Lydia Green Nursing Program within the School of Health Sciences. This role is currently non-tenure track, with the potential to transition to a tenure-track position in the future. The university is seeking a highly qualified faculty member for classroom and clinical teaching within their concept-based, pre-licensure BSN curriculum. While applicants from all specialty backgrounds are welcome, those with experience and expertise in adult health are particularly encouraged. The faculty member's primary teaching responsibilities will be in the undergraduate, pre-licensure program, delivered in an on-campus format. The Lydia Green Nursing Program, part of the School of Health Sciences, offers a vibrant undergraduate BSN program that is highly regarded by the regional healthcare community. It is approved by the Washington State Nursing Quality Assurance Commission and fully accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). Requirements

  • Earned doctorate in Nursing or closely related discipline
  • At least one graduate-level degree must be in nursing
  • May consider candidates with Master's in Nursing for Instructor level position
  • Unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Washington by September 1, 2026 (or start date)

Responsibilities

  • Regular, nine (9)-month academic appointment with teaching responsibility for approximately 33 academic quarter credits
  • Advising and mentoring

  • Compensation: $76,220 - $86,520 annually, commensurate to experience
