About The Position

The Department of Nursing invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Nursing faculty position beginning Fall 2026. The program has Baccalaureate, MSN, and DNP programs. The position includes teaching responsibilities in the classroom and clinical setting as well as a commitment to maintain practice, service, and scholarship responsibilities. The programs within the department are fully accredited and taught in a beautiful facility with state-of-the-art simulation capabilities.

Requirements

• Teaching experience
• Clinical experience
• Registered Nurse License in Michigan (or eligible)
• Doctorate in nursing or related field (enrollment in a doctoral program) with evidence of scholarly activity
• If a Doctorate is in a related field, a master's in nursing is required
• Experience and ability to positively interact with all members of the campus community
• Ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodations

Nice To Haves

• Experience with online teaching and learning
• Concept-based curriculum
• Simulation experience
• Clinical experience in one or more of the areas (long-term, acute care adult health, community health, critical care, FNP, PMHNP)
• Works well in a team environment
• Experience in RN to BSN, Family Nurse Practitioner, and/or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner education
