Under limited supervision, the Instructional Technology Coach provides leadership in training and coaching teachers in comprehensive curricular programs. This role involves collaborating with faculty and instructional leaders to integrate software and Internet resources to support student learning, and assisting teachers in meeting subject-area and technology-learning objectives. The coach will create learning resources such as tutorials, instructional videos, and interactive programs, while also mentoring and coaching teachers in various technology integration methodologies. They will work with administrators and other instructional personnel to develop integrated lessons and effective strategies for technology use. Additionally, the coach will coordinate instruction to meet technology proficiency goals, recommend software, assist in planning extended learning opportunities, identify educational trends, assess technology skill levels, and support district technology plans. Maintaining activity logs and using positive communication skills are also key aspects of this role.
