About The Position

SAIC is seeking an Instructional Systems Designer to support Hardware in the Loop – Aviation (HWIL-A) to analyze, design, and develop Interactive Multimedia Instruction and Serious Games with levels of interactivity ranging from Levels 2-4 in accordance with the Army Virtual Learning Environment. This position is fully remote, though the team is based in Huntsville, AL.

Requirements

  • Experience with Interactive Multimedia Instruction and Serious Games development.
  • Familiarity with levels of interactivity ranging from Levels 2-4.
  • Understanding of the Army Virtual Learning Environment.
  • Ability to create asynchronous and synchronous instruction.
  • Experience working with instructors, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and multimedia developers.
  • Proficiency in creating storyboards, scripts, and scenario-based instruction.
  • Expertise in the creation of processes and implementation of distributed learning.
  • Experience in developing course materials or courseware, product testing, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing training needs and developing solutions to address them.
  • Providing consultation and recommendations to customers on innovative training solutions as well as on effective and relevant curriculum development.
  • Creating asynchronous and synchronous instruction designed for a distributed immersive learning environment.
  • Working with instructors, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and multimedia developers to analyze, design, develop, and evaluate distributed learning solutions.
  • Creating storyboards, scripts, scenario-based instruction, and other advanced learning strategies to meet the needs of learners.
  • Providing expertise in the creation of processes, and implementation of distributed learning.
  • Performing the actual detailed development of course materials or courseware, as well as product testing, and maintenance.
