About The Position

The Instructional Support Specialist will be responsible for supporting customer requirements for the client(s) and assisting with all aspects of adult training to include, but not limited to course enrollment, registration support, classroom management and scheduling, and post-training evaluation collection and analysis. This role involves actively collaborating with team members, managing projects independently with competing priorities, and supporting the day-to-day operations of learning programs. The specialist will assist the instructor cadre with classroom reservations and set-up, communicate with senior managers for curriculum planning, and help conduct assessments, surveys, and focus groups. A key responsibility is the creation and distribution of post-training surveys and evaluations, as well as collecting, compiling, and analyzing student training data to prepare reports for the client. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Kirkpatrick's Four Levels of Evaluation and be able to identify and support opportunities to expand project scope, sharing information about client needs and trends with the team and management.

Requirements

  • Must have an active TS/SCI with poly
  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 4+ years of equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years working with mission support
  • Excellent facilitation skills that engage participants and students
  • Manage complex relationships with stakeholders in an environment with short deadlines and high business impact
  • Demonstrated experience using office productivity software
  • Aptitude for accurate and detail-oriented work
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Solid organizational skills, including ability to manage competing priorities for self and others, meet deadlines, and exercise good judgment
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) for providing customer service in a diverse academic environment, and for interacting with senior client management, client and adjunct faculty, and students
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to negotiate fairly and rationally, and exercise sound judgment under time pressure or in emotionally charged situations
