About The Position
Houston Community College is seeking an Instructional Supervisor CE to advance its tradition of academic excellence, student life, and community service. The role calls for a student-focused, tech-savvy, process-improvement-minded individual who can build partnerships with communities and individuals and support a positive student experience. The position provides instructional oversight, including teacher observations, and develops and implements innovative, quality-based instructional continuing education programs. Houston Community College serves diverse communities across the Greater Houston area through its Centers of Excellence and satellite centers, offering associate degrees, certificates, workforce training, and lifelong learning opportunities.
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of related work experience in an adult education setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field preferred and/or teacher certification.
- Ability to provide instructional oversight, including teacher observations.
- Ability to develop and implement innovative, quality-based instructional continuing education programs.
- Tech-savvy and focused on process improvement.
- Student-focused, collaborative, innovative, and able to get things done.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual or ESL certification preferred.
