The College of Social Sciences & Education (SSE) is seeking qualified students for grading positions as Instructional Student Assistant for courses that are appropriate in our curriculum in any given semester. Students need to apply each semester. Faculty recommendations are welcomed. This position is open until it is filled. If you have applied and no other positions are available, you will be notified. The hours for this position are 0-20 hours per week. Job Duties may include the following, but will be dependent upon the specific course to which the instructional student assistant will be assigned, as well as upon the specific needs of the faculty member in charge of the course: Provide instructional support to assigned instructors in SSE by grading papers in a variety of courses, proctoring exams, or facilitating group work and discussions. Assist the instructor in lab/activity sessions, proctoring, and/or perform other duties as assigned by the Department Chair in consultation with an appropriate faculty member.
