About The Position

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at CSU Fullerton invites applications for its Instructional Student Assistant Pool. We welcome applications from current CSUF undergraduate and graduate students in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department to work with individual faculty to grade homework or provide classroom/lab assistance or tutoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering. An Instructional Student Assistant is a CSUF graduate or undergraduate student who is appointed at an hourly rate to perform grading or tutoring duties, during an academic term, under the direct supervision of an appropriate faculty member. This is a pool of Instructional Student Assistant for the department to draw on as necessary. Appointments from the pool are temporary and often made just prior to the start of the academic term. Applicants may be offered employment on very short notice.

Requirements

  • Student must have completed related EE 200, 300, 400 & 500 level courses with a grade of B.
  • Current students at CSUF and is enrolled/registered (fees paid) in at least 6 units in a current regular semester as a new or continuing student.
  • Student who has completed the prior semester (has not graduated), or who is registered for the subsequent semester.
  • In good academic standing (not on academic notice or academic dismissal).
  • Student who is authorized to work in the United States and can provide eligibility documents.
