About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Instructional Specialist to join our team at Tully Elementary School. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing educational practices and supporting teachers in their instructional methods to ensure all students achieve academic success. This full-time position requires a collaborative individual who is committed to fostering a positive learning environment and is equipped to implement effective teaching strategies.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Two (2) years of experience with youth
  • Associate’s (or higher) degree or Completion of an AZ Department of Education-approved Academic Assessment Test OR 60 Semester-Hour credits at an institute of higher learning (Copy of diploma, transcripts or test results must be submitted at time of hire).
  • Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.
  • FBI fingerprint background check.
  • Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as a teacher aide.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement effective instructional strategies and curriculum enhancements.
  • Provide ongoing professional development and training for educators to improve instructional practices and student engagement.
  • Analyze student performance data to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted interventions.
  • Support the implementation of state and district educational initiatives and standards.
  • Facilitate the integration of technology into the classroom to enhance learning experiences.
  • Assist in the development of instructional materials and resources that align with curriculum goals.
  • Observe classroom instruction and provide constructive feedback to teachers to promote best practices.
  • Act as a resource for teachers in the selection and use of instructional materials and assessments.
  • Engage with parents and the community to promote understanding and support of educational programs.
  • Stay current with educational research and trends to inform instructional practices.
