About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Instructional Specialist to join our team at Tully Elementary School. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing educational practices and supporting teachers in their instructional methods to ensure all students achieve academic success. This full-time position requires a collaborative individual who is committed to fostering a positive learning environment and is equipped to implement effective teaching strategies.

Requirements

High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Two (2) years of experience with youth
Associate’s (or higher) degree or Completion of an AZ Department of Education-approved Academic Assessment Test OR 60 Semester-Hour credits at an institute of higher learning (Copy of diploma, transcripts or test results must be submitted at time of hire).
Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.
FBI fingerprint background check.
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.

Nice To Haves

Experience as a teacher aide.
Bilingual in English and Spanish

Responsibilities

Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement effective instructional strategies and curriculum enhancements.
Provide ongoing professional development and training for educators to improve instructional practices and student engagement.
Analyze student performance data to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted interventions.
Support the implementation of state and district educational initiatives and standards.
Facilitate the integration of technology into the classroom to enhance learning experiences.
Assist in the development of instructional materials and resources that align with curriculum goals.
Observe classroom instruction and provide constructive feedback to teachers to promote best practices.
Act as a resource for teachers in the selection and use of instructional materials and assessments.
Engage with parents and the community to promote understanding and support of educational programs.
Stay current with educational research and trends to inform instructional practices.
