About The Position
Assists teachers in performing their classroom teaching responsibilities. This position is for the 2026-2027 school year and offers higher pay thanks to community support, with increases funded through a community-approved override guaranteed through June 2031.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Completion of an AZ Dept. of Education-approved Academic Assessment Test OR Associate’s (or higher) degree OR Two-years (60 Semester-Hour credits) of post high school general education studies
- One year of experience working with youth
- Speak, read and write in English
- Copy of diploma, transcript or test results must be submitted at time of hire.
- FBI fingerprint background check.
- Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
