About The Position
The Department of Health Behavior in the CEPH-accredited School of Public Health at Texas A&M University invites applications for a full-time, academic professional track (non-tenure) instructional position at the rank of Instructional Assistant Professor, Instructional Associate Professor, or Instructional Professor. The successful candidate will contribute to the Department’s education and service mission, support the development and mentorship of undergraduate and graduate students, and maintain excellence in the classroom. Instructional faculty have fully funded 9-month appointments with responsibilities divided between teaching (90%) and service (10%). The standard teaching load is seven 3-credit-hour classes per year. Additional summer salary may be available depending on school or department needs. The appointment is scheduled to start August 1, 2027, though the formal start date is negotiable. Reviews will begin in October 2026, and applications will be considered until the position is filled. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in social and behavioral health, public health, health education, health promotion, or a related field.
- Strong record of instructional experience.
- Demonstrated commitment to dynamic graduate and undergraduate teaching.
