About The Position

The School of Marketing and Innovation at the Muma College of Business, University of South Florida, is seeking a full-time Instructor in Marketing for its Tampa campus. The role involves teaching undergraduate and graduate marketing and sales courses, and providing student-centered service. Ideally, the candidate will lead a marketing practice center connecting students with local businesses for paid projects and/or advise a student organization. This is a 9-month, non-tenure-track position, with additional compensation for summer courses if scheduled.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a master’s degree in a related field from an accredited University or expect to complete such a degree prior to the start date.
  • Ability to effectively teach a variety of marketing and sales courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
  • Ability to provide substantial student-centered service to the institution.

Nice To Haves

  • PhD. or DBA preferred.
  • Significant professional work experience in marketing.
  • Strong connections to the local business community.
  • Qualified to lead a marketing practice center that links students with paid short term marketing projects at local businesses.
