About The Position

Our valued client, Arlington Community Federal Credit Union (ACFCU), is actively recruiting for an Instructional Designer to support staff and leadership development across the organization. In this role, you will design and develop engaging training content including eLearnings, in-person and virtual classroom instruction, job aids, and procedural documentation. This role requires a strong grasp of adult learning principles, experience with eLearning authoring tools, and the ability to collaborate with subject matter experts to translate complex content into learner-centered materials.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
Minimum two (2) years in instructional design
Minimum two (2) years in customer service training or a related environment
Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies such as ADDIE
Experience with eLearning authoring platforms (Articulate, Storyline, Captivate, or similar)
Experience administering a Learning Management System (LMS), including compliance training deployment
Proficiency in design and content creation tools such as Canva
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams)
Experience creating content for databases, websites, or intranets
Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to build engaging, effective training materials
Strong organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience working in or training for a financial institution

Responsibilities

Design and develop engaging training content including eLearnings, in-person and virtual classroom instruction, job aids, and procedural documentation.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate complex content into learner-centered materials.
Administer a Learning Management System (LMS), including compliance training deployment.
Develop visually engaging training materials, presentations, and job aids using design and content creation tools.
Create content for databases, websites, or intranets.
Present and facilitate training at all levels of the organization.
Ensure accurate and timely completion of all job duties in compliance with all Credit Union policies and procedures.
