About The Position

Ulteig is currently seeking a talented and motivated Instructional Designer. Bring your creative spark to Ulteig’s L&D team to craft modern, blended learning—video, webinars, microlearning, asynchronous e-learning, job aids, and on-the-job practice—that powers our Future Ready Workforce and turns great design into real impact at work. In this US‑remote role, you’ll launch and scale experiences enterprise‑wide, shaping our content library and seeing your work adopted across the business.

Requirements

  • Use instructional design, adult learning theories, and industry-recognized design practices (e.g. ADDIE, SAM) to customize and innovate new and existing programs.
  • Develop and maintain leader guides, participant materials, and assessments.
  • Participate in development of storyboards, curriculum scripts, and other materials that include learning objectives, content, and project outlines, with project completion date, hours of impact to the learner/business unit, and measurable business impact.
  • Document content design methods to ensure quality and consistency in training methods.
  • Maintain a library of eLearning modules, video presentations, and other materials.
  • Assist in the analysis of current training programs for effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Bachelor’s degree in instructional design or business field, or equivalent education/experience.
  • Knowledge of instructional design principles, including ability with ADDIE, Kirkpatrick’s level of evaluation, Blooms taxonomy, and adult learning theory.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical ability to evaluate training needs and programs.
  • Writing and communication skills for creating content and disseminating program information and updates.
  • Creative thinking skills to conceptualize and brainstorm innovative learning strategies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines within budget.
  • Proficiency using MS Office tools, including SharePoint and Copilot.
  • Exposure to instructional design/development software (e.g. Articulate 360, PowToon, Clipchamp, Adobe Creative Cloud – Photoshop, InDesign, Audition, Premier Pro, Camtasia).
  • LMS experience with an understanding of SCORM compliance standards.

  • Design and develop modern learning experiences—eLearning, classroom programs, videos, webinars, and blended solutions—that strengthen capability and performance across Ulteig.
  • Build leader guides, participant materials, assessments, and storyboards.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to keep content fresh, relevant, and aligned to business needs.
  • Maintain and improve our learning library.
  • Analyze program effectiveness.
  • Innovate using proven instructional design models like ADDIE and SAM.
  • Provide guidance and instruction to trainers on program design.
  • Work with internal subject matters experts to keep up to date on company products/business.
