About The Position

As an Instructional Designer at Ace, you will be responsible for developing engaging and effective E-learnings and training materials that align with our core values. You will work closely with subject matter experts and instructional designers to create content that not only educates but also inspires and empowers learners. This role involves creating visually stunning graphics, animations, and special effects, developing storyboards and scripts, and producing high-quality digital content using the latest software and technology. You will also be responsible for creating, curating, and updating training content, including videos, e-learning modules, workbooks, instructor guides, and job aids. Additionally, you will manage learning pathways, run reports, enroll mandatory training, and handle multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring tasks are prioritized to meet deadlines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience using Articulate Storyline 360.
  • Experience building online and in-person courses for adult learners from the ground up.
  • Experience writing video scripts and video production.
  • Action-oriented, exercising initiative to follow up and follow through.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in content creation/design software and e-learning development tools.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Adherence to ethical guidelines and confidentiality.

  • Experience using Canva is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Create visually stunning graphics, animations, and special effects that captivate audiences.
  • Develop storyboards, scripts, and other necessary materials to bring digital content projects to life.
  • Create, curate, and update training content, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Utilize the latest software and technology to produce high-quality digital content.
  • Use multimedia skills to design and develop new learning materials including videos, e-learning modules, workbooks, instructor guides and job aids that drive organizational learning and results.
  • Uploads content, manages learning pathways, runs reports, and enrolls mandatory training.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Work closely with Director of Learning & Development, the L&D team, and stakeholders to gather input and feedback.
  • Communicate ideas effectively through written, visual, and multimedia content.
  • Develop clear and concise training materials that facilitate understanding and engagement.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive atmosphere within the training team.
  • Cultivate relationships with colleagues and learners based on respect, empathy, and trust.
  • Ensure that training content reflects a shared sense of purpose and belonging.
  • Strive for excellence in content creation, delivering materials that exceed learner expectations.
  • Respond to learner inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Continuously assess and improve training materials based on feedback and performance data.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices to enhance the quality and relevance of training content.
  • Measure the impact of training materials on learning outcomes and make data-driven improvements.
  • Provides support on the evaluation, analysis and reporting of training effectiveness.
  • Identify cost-effective ways to produce high-quality training content without compromising on quality.
