About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to develop and deliver high-quality training and course materials, primarily within the semiconductor industry. This role requires a strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to translate them into effective learning experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in course development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Electrical Engineering, Semiconductor Technology, Education, or a related field.
• Proven experience in instructional design and course development.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor processes, technologies, and industry standards, or demonstrated capacity to learn hardware (e.g., DIY projects).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise learning materials.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality educational content.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PPT, Excel, and Word (highly proficient in PowerPoint and Excel).
• Effective communication and fluent Technical English.
• Ability to write clear instructional copy.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with multimedia production and editing tools.
• 5+ years in training and/or course development.
• Familiarity with instructional design models such as ADDIE, SAM, or PBET.
• Previous experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with any e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360 - STORYLINE, Adobe Captivate) and learning management systems (LMS).
• Photo editing, animation creation, Visio, video editing.
• Experience with Learning Management Software (LMS) (e.g., Cornerstone, SuccessFactors).
• Presentation skills, Articulate Storyline, audio editing.
• Project Management Skills and storyboard creation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design instructional materials for various learning modalities.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and engaging learning content.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality educational content.
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather information and ensure accuracy.
• Utilize instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM, PBET) to guide course development.
• Create and edit multimedia content, including graphics, animations, and videos.
• Develop and maintain training materials using e-learning authoring tools and LMS.
• Ensure attention to detail in all aspects of content creation and project management.
