About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Instructional Designer/Developer with a strong background in medical imaging software. This role will own the design and development of comprehensive, multimodal training programs for global audiences, supporting the growth of our MIM software business by increasing clinician proficiency and improving internal competency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in instructional design or technical training development.
  • Strong proficiency in eLearning authoring tools and enterprise learning management system (LMS) platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global, cross-functional team, including in the U.S.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and investigative skills, with the ability to identify missing information, ask the right questions, and determine the information needed.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence without authority, resolve competing priorities, and maintain forward momentum in fast-paced environments where business needs, timelines, and priorities change.
  • Results-driven and action-oriented.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience creating content for a healthcare OEM or medical imaging company.
  • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards in healthcare education.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement engaging instructional content for eLearning formats, asynchronous learning activities, and instructor-led training. Use tools such as Litmos, Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, or similar applications.
  • Develop both end-user training and internal staff training materials, including train-the-trainer materials.
  • Conduct thorough research to inform the development of accurate content. Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) in molecular imaging, theranostics, radiation oncology, IT, networking, DICOM, and service procedures to translate complex technical concepts and operational procedures into effective learning experiences.
  • Create curriculum and training materials aligned with adult learning principles and instructional design best practices.
  • Create project plans and execute them according to schedule.
  • Ensure brand consistency, regulatory compliance, and localization readiness.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
  • Maintain product and business knowledge; stay current with emerging technologies and trends in healthcare IT, imaging, and instructional design.
  • Coordinate training logistics. This may include scheduling trainings and maintaining facilitator coverage plans; preparing trainers or facilitators; tracking attendance, registration, and certifications; and supporting integration between the LMS and various tools.
