About The Position

Fern Ridge School District is accepting applications for a 3.75-hour Title Instructional Assistant position. This position will include small group/individual student assistance and supervision support. Some light cleaning and clerical work may also be required. The successful candidate must be highly qualified and be able to pass a fingerprint background check with the Oregon Department of Education.

Requirements

Highly qualified status.
Ability to pass a fingerprint background check with the Oregon Department of Education.
Ability to work closely with students and positively assist them with learning & behavior goals.
Ability to stay on a daily schedule.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to take direction and feedback from supervising staff.
Ability to multi-task and work within a flexible schedule and routine.
Proof of successful completion of 72 quarter hours or associates degree (or higher) OR pass a paraprofessional exam to be considered highly qualified.
