About The Position
The Lansing School District, serving over 10,000 PreK-12 students across 25 school buildings in Lansing, MI, is seeking an Instructional Assistant for its Summer School 2026 BEST (Bilingual Education Summer Tutoring) Camp. This 6-week in-person program, running from the week of June 25th through the week of August 1st, includes a paid planning week prior to its start. The camp will be held onsite at Gardner International Magnet Academy and will focus on English Language acquisition and Literacy for Multilingual Learner students in grades PreK-12. The program also includes short daytime field trips to locations such as Potter Park, Ebersole, and Michigan State University. Responsibilities
- Provide in-person instruction to Multilingual Learner students in grades PreK-12 during the BEST Camp
- Participate in a paid planning week before the program starts
