Instructional Assistant II's work with students served in mild/moderate programs, including Resource, Learning Handicap, or Communicatively Handicap programs. Typical duties involve running small groups, assisting students in large groups within Special Day Class settings or General Education, and supporting teacher needs. Candidates should possess any combination of experience and training that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job duties. In some programs, a valid California Class C Driver License may be required within 30 days of hire or before driving any equipment/vehicle requiring this license.
