About The Position
The Instructional Assistant I position at Woodside School is a part-time, permanent role within the Support Staff & Services category, specifically in Instructional Support. This role involves working with groups of children and requires specific qualifications and documentation to be considered. The position is for 6 hours per day, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM, following the Elementary Instructional Assistant - Calendar 18A schedule, which spans 9 months/year, 206 days/year.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with groups of children.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Passing score from San Juan Unified School District's Proficiency Exam (testing date must be April 2005 to current) OR Official passing score from the California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST).
- Passing the IA Proficiency Test or having the CBEST is required, regardless of educational background.
- Possession of, or willingness and ability to obtain a valid California Class C Driver License within 30 days of hire or before driving any equipment/vehicle requiring this license.
