About The Position

The Instructional Assistant I will work at Mariposa School, supporting students in a part-time, permanent role. This position is part of the CSEA General Unit Salary Schedule and involves working 6 hours per day, Monday through Friday, from 7:45 am to 2:15 pm. The role requires previous experience working with groups of children and specific pre-qualification documentation.

In some programs, possession of, or willingness and ability to obtain a valid California Class C Driver License within 30 days of hire or before driving any equipment/vehicle requiring this license.
Must pre-qualify by attaching one documentation [A, B, C, or D item] from the following list:
[A] Passing score from SJUSD's Proficiency Exam - testing date must be April 2005 to current. No other school districts proficiency exam accepted.
[B] Official passing score from the California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST)
[C] OFFICIAL transcripts demonstrating the completion of two years of college (48 semester/60 quarter units)
[D] Proof of an A.A. degree (or higher). If your degree/transcripts are from a foreign college or university, YOU MUST have coursework evaluated for its equivalency to a degree/transcripts received from an accredited United States college or university.
