[POOL] Instructional Assistant 1 (Math Help Desk)
About The Position
This posting is for a pooled position. Application submissions for “[ POOL ]” positions are accepted on an ongoing basis to ensure a continuous and ready pool of qualified candidates for immediate review when the need arises. If/when a position becomes available, the College will review applications from this pool, and interview candidates whose qualifications best match the specific opening. Applicants must reapply to the pool annually to maintain their active status in the pool. Contributes to student academic success and completion by assisting students in their study of mathematics and applied mathematics courses. Assists students to become successful and independent learners by using Socratic questioning to improve their critical thinking, problem solving, study strategies and ability to make connections between mathematical concepts and applications.
Requirements
