About The Position

Baird’s Sales & Trading Shadow Week is a one-week, unpaid experience designed to take place one week before the candidate’s full-time summer internship begins. Participants must be available to attend full time for the duration of the experience, which will be held onsite at Baird’s Milwaukee, Wisconsin office from Monday, August 9 through Friday, August 13, 2027.

Participants will shadow experienced sales associates and traders in a structured team environment. They will be exposed to research products marketed to the investment management, mutual fund, pension fund, and hedge fund communities; learn about the function of U.S. equity markets; and gain exposure to Baird’s sales teams, trading systems, sales trading desk, and principal trading desk.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Business or a related field.
• Must have an interest in equity capital markets.
• Must have solid analytical and sales skills, strong interpersonal capabilities, and a strong work ethic.
• Must be available to attend full time for the entire one-week experience in person at the Milwaukee office.
