About The Position

Installers prepare, load, deliver, and install products and equipment at client locations. Work includes occasional warehouse tasks and plant preparation, delivery and care of plants and hardgoods, maintaining living green walls, planting containers and beds, installing scenting and air-purification equipment, and helping with seasonal holiday decoration installation and removal. The role includes driving a delivery van or truck in urban and rural settings, some outdoor work, and occasional after-hours project work. Installers take care to protect customer property during service.

Requirements

Experience interacting with clients.
Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to safely climb and work on ladders up to 12 feet.
Experience using pruners, scissors, and other sharp objects.
Experience using drills, saws, and other power tools.
Valid driver's license from the state of residence.

Nice To Haves

Experience caring for plants is preferred.
Lift certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Complete occasional warehouse tasks, including receiving and preparing plants and protecting plants and containers for delivery.
Load a service vehicle and carefully deliver plants and hardgoods to customer sites.
Arrange delivery details with clients as required and deliver replacement materials to customer sites.
Regularly drive a delivery-type van or truck in urban and rural settings.
Maintain plants and hardware components of living green walls at various heights.
Plant containers, vases, and planter beds with a variety of plants.
Prevent damage to surrounding floors, walls, carpet, furniture, and other property during installation service.
Deliver and install scenting and air-purification equipment as needed.
Be available for occasional after-hours project work, such as early access to customer sites for large tree deliveries or replacements.
Perform some outdoor and exterior work.
Assist a team with holiday decoration installations inside and outside buildings.
Assist with removing holiday decorations at the end of the season.
