About The Position

Level99 is seeking an Installer for its Install team, which handles the breakdown, shipping, and installation of attractions across existing and future venues. The Installer also assists with repairs, improvements, and replacement of attractions and facilities, working with internal teams and external resources. Install crews divide into smaller groups, and each core Installer is expected to organize their team’s efforts and share knowledge of Level99 products and methods. The role is based in Greater Boston and requires extensive travel, expected to be more than 20 days per month. The Installer works with modular wall systems, electro-mechanical systems, sets, and related equipment, and helps maintain Level99’s brand, visual, safety, and cleanliness standards. The position calls for an organized, professional, positive, and adaptable person who can work effectively under pressure and learn new skills quickly.

Requirements

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment.
Ability to travel more than 20 days per month.
Ability to regularly lift 20, 50, and 80 pounds.

High school education or equivalent.
Willingness to understand, use, and embrace new technology and its implementation, with knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft Office.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of experience working in a related installation or technical capacity.
Basic electrical knowledge and troubleshooting ability.
Ability to troubleshoot PCs, networks, micro-controllers, and other electronic equipment.
Experience operating a forklift and scissor lift.

Responsibilities

Install patented modular wall systems for games in new and existing venues across the country.
Install and troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems and sets.
Assist with repair of attractions, elements, and facilities using skills such as craftsmanship in wood, metal, and plastics; painting, surfacing, and refinishing; practical wiring; and troubleshooting electronic equipment.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of safe and efficient use of relevant shop tools.
Study and interpret shop drawings, sketches, wiring diagrams, and other design documents.
Prioritize personal safety and the safety of coworkers in daily work.
Work alongside external contractors and suppliers to complete installation and maintenance tasks.
Uphold Level99 brand and visual standards across products, experiences, displays, environmental cleanliness, and organization.
Follow supervisors’ direction and manage time effectively.
Maintain a positive, upbeat, proactive attitude and inspire the same in coworkers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
