About The Position

CaptionCall is seeking a caring, customer-service-oriented Installer/Trainer to help people with hearing loss communicate with the world. This hands-on role involves visiting customers in their homes to install CaptionCall phones and train customers individually on using the phones and their features. The position offers a flexible schedule for someone comfortable working independently and is full-time, with potential for career growth and advancement. The role has no supervisory responsibilities and requires travel of less than 25%.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic computer knowledge and experience.
• Sales experience.
• Experience working in the hearing health field.
• Experience working with senior citizens.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Communicate effectively in English through reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
• Work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Drive and travel by air as needed.
• Tailor service to the unique needs of individual customers.
• Be reliable, organized, and punctual.
• Maintain highly confidential and sensitive information in strict confidence.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot CaptionCall phones.
• Courteously train customers to use the phone and its features.
• Promote the CaptionCall service.
• Create lead-generation activities and generate referrals.
• Attend and participate in trade shows and other corporate events as assigned.
• Guide other CaptionCall activities and recommend ways to expand the breadth and reach of the business.
• Recruit and refer potential Installer/Trainer candidates to support local installations and events.
• Complete assigned service calls.
• Accurately maintain customer records.
• Complete required reports and submit invoices and feedback on customer interactions.
• Retrieve and clean phones belonging to former customers.
• Maintain adequate inventory of equipment and supplies to service customers.
• Adapt to new responsibilities as necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
