About The Position

Installers prepare, load, deliver, and install deliveries for clients. The work includes occasional warehouse tasks, such as receiving and preparing plants and protecting plants and containers for delivery. Installers drive a delivery van or truck in urban and rural settings, coordinate delivery arrangements as required, and deliver replacement materials to customer sites. They install and maintain plants and hardware components of living green walls at various heights; plant containers, vases, and planter beds; and deliver and install scenting and air purification equipment as needed. They take care to prevent damage to floors, walls, carpets, furniture, and other surroundings during service. The position also includes occasional after-hours project work, some outdoor or exterior work, and assisting a team with holiday decoration installation and removal.

Requirements

• Experience interacting with clients.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely climb ladders and work on ladders up to 12 feet.
• Experience using pruners, scissors, and other sharp objects.
• Experience using drills, saws, and other power tools.
• Valid driver's license from the state of residence.

Nice To Haves

• Experience caring for plants is preferred.
• Lift certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, load, deliver, and install deliveries for clients.
• Complete occasional warehouse tasks, including receiving and preparing plants and protecting plants and containers for delivery.
• Load the service vehicle and carefully deliver plants and hardgoods to customer sites.
• Schedule delivery details and arrangements as required by clients, and deliver replacement materials to customer sites as needed.
• Regularly drive a delivery van or truck in urban and rural settings.
• Maintain plants and hardware components of living green walls at various heights.
• Plant containers, vases, and planter beds with a variety of plants.
• Prevent damage to surrounding floors, walls, carpets, furniture, and other areas during installation service.
• Deliver and install scenting and air purification equipment as necessary.
• Be available for occasional after-hours project work, such as early access to customer sites for large tree deliveries or replacements.
• Perform some outdoor or exterior work.
• Assist a team with installing holiday decorations inside and outside buildings.
• Assist with removing holiday decorations at the end of the season as needed.
