About The Position

Installers prepare, load, deliver, and install products and equipment for clients. The role includes occasional warehouse work, plant and container preparation, delivery scheduling, regular driving in urban and rural settings, and maintaining plants and hardware for living green walls. Installers plant containers and beds, protect client property during installations, and may deliver and install scenting and air-purification equipment. The position also assists with seasonal holiday decoration installations and removals, including some outdoor work. Occasional after-hours project work may be required.

The role involves working at customer residences, properties, and places of business, often unsupervised. Employees may handle company equipment and customer records, work with vendors and customers, and may drive a company vehicle as a primary duty. The stated hourly pay range is $18.00–$25.00. Benefits for full-time colleagues begin on day one, with no waiting period.

Requirements

• Experience interacting with clients.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to safely climb ladders and work on ladders up to 12 feet.
• Experience using pruners, scissors, and other sharp objects.
• Experience using drills, saws, and other power tools.
• Must possess a valid driver's license from the state of residence.

Nice To Haves

• Experience caring for plants is preferred.
• Lift certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, load, deliver, and install deliveries for clients.
• Perform occasional warehouse tasks, including receiving plants and preparing plants and containers for delivery.
• Load service vehicles and carefully deliver plants and hardgoods to customer sites.
• Schedule delivery details and arrangements as required by clients, and deliver replacement materials to customer sites as required.
• Regularly drive a delivery van or truck in urban and rural settings.
• Maintain plants and hardware components of living green walls at various heights.
• Plant containers, vases, and planter beds with a variety of plants.
• Prevent damage to surrounding floors, walls, carpet, furniture, and other property during installation service.
• Deliver and install scenting and air-purification equipment as necessary.
• Be available for occasional after-hours project work, such as early access to customer sites for large tree delivery or replacement.
• Perform some outdoor or exterior work.
• Assist a team with holiday decoration installations inside and outside buildings.
• Assist with removal of holiday decorations at the end of the season.
