About The Position

eDesign Group is seeking a Low-Voltage Installation Technician for high-end residential AV, lighting, shading, and control systems. The ideal candidate is a trustworthy, hands-on individual with a hunger to learn and grow, who prefers field work over desk work and is technically inclined. Experience on construction sites, ability to use tools, a steady work history, and high emotional intelligence are essential.

Requirements

• Experience on construction sites
• Ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, use power tools & hand tools
• Steady work history (3yrs between hops)
• Pleasant disposition
• High EQ

Nice To Haves

• Lower Skill or No Programming = Less Pay

Responsibilities

• Pull/Terminate/Test Low-Voltage Cabling (Category, Fiber, Speaker, Lutron, Crestron)
• Mount devices at the ends of those wires
• Build and lace equipment racks
• Advanced setup and configuration of devices
• Advanced understanding of networks
• Advanced troubleshooting of devices
• Programming (Lutron/C4/Savant/Crestron)
