About The Position

Holman's upfitting division has a great opportunity for an Installation Mechanic to join our team in Blue Mound, TX. The primary job function will be installing new aftermarket equipment on new vehicles, in a Safety-First environment. This role is responsible for understanding the value that quality plays in the overall success of the company and helping to increase the quality of our products for the appearance and safety of our customers. This is a high-paced work environment that prioritizes quality products. The role is responsible for testing installed parts prior to final inspection and referencing Work Orders for placement, orientation, and overall function of equipment. The Installation Mechanic will also inform and communicate suggestions and errors to relevant departments for continuous improvement of the installation process.

Requirements

1-3 years of previous electrical, mechanical, and equipment assembly experience required or, completion/current enrollment in an accredited Technical School.
Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools.
Understand electrical schematics and 12V circuits.
Troubleshoot problems.
Must be able to perform within the established company standards, which include but are not limited to standard operating procedures, attendance, quality, team environment and performance.
Must pass a physical, drug test, and criminal background check prior to employment.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Must be able to provide basic hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

Installing new aftermarket equipment on new vehicles.
