About The Position

R & T Yoder HVAC, Inc in Columbus, OH is looking to hire a full-time experienced Installation HVAC Tech. This role involves installing new HVAC systems, removing old ones, performing routine maintenance, and training junior team members. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of residential and/or commercial HVAC systems and local codes, experience running pipe and duct systems, reading wiring diagrams, understanding refrigeration cycles, and interpreting technical data. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential, as is a valid driver's license and a good driving record. Requirements

• 4+ years of HVAC field experience
• Knowledge of residential and/or commercial HVAC systems and local codes
• In field sales experience
• Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams
• Understanding refrigeration cycles
• Knowing how to interpret various technical data, such as pressure and temperature
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record
• Problem solver who enjoys troubleshooting
• Self-motivated
• Excellent communication skills including the ability to explain technical information clearly and in layman's terms
• Service-oriented
• Ability to establish a good rapport with people
• Respectful of others and their personal property
• Punctual and reliable
• Takes pride in their work
