As an Installation Deployment Support Operations Planner and Analyst you’ll bring your transportation and mobility expertise to determine and assess operational deployment readiness requirements background to collaborate with thought leaders in multinational, Joint, Army, and commercial agencies through the Joint Logistics Enterprise on projects for unit movement operations. You’ll use your skills as you plan, organize, and supervise the preparation and execution of unit movement and distribution operations. Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience with U.S. Army operational or sustainment planning and executing of Mobilization Operations, Deployments Operations, Sustainment Operations, Redeployment Operations, Combat Training Center (CTC) rotations, Deployment Exercise rotations, Joint Event Lifecycle (JELC) exercises, or Joint Logistic Over-The-Shore (JLOTS)
  • Experience with the integration of ATP 3-35 and ATP 5-2-1 Appendix J into Unit Movement planning
  • Experience working at or with Installation Transportation Office (ITO), Corps Transportation Office (CTO), Division Transportation Office (DTO), and Composition 3 Deployment and Distribution Support Team (DDST)
  • Knowledge of Joint Operational Planning and Execution System (JOPES)
  • Knowledge of the Army Message Handling System (AMHS)
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with working on or with former U.S. Army Deployment Support Team (DST)
  • Experience working in or being assigned to the PACOM Area of Operations (AOR)
  • Graduate of the Unit Movement Officer Deployment Planning Course
  • Graduate of TC-AIMS II course taught and approved by the US Army Transportation School
  • Graduate of Hazardous Material Certification Course
  • Graduate of the Air Deployment Planning Course
  • Completion of Military Education level IV Course
