About The Position

The Deployment Analyst’s main responsibility is transfer of materials to support customer orders and future demand and improving the metrics and processes around movement of intercompany inventory. This role is responsible for managing inventory levels and identifying risks to the business related to shortages. This role is responsible for working cross functionally within the supply chain, distribution, logistics, and customer service to be sure that service and inventory targets are being met.

Requirements

  • 0 – 3 years relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • ERP experience, SAP preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across the organization both within the supply chain and cross functionally.
  • Demonstrated agility in a changing environment.
  • Ability to influence others who are not direct reports to accomplish tasks required by the business.
  • Demonstrated customer first mindset.
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Issue transfer orders from the manufacturing facility to the DC and between DC’s to ensure materials are in the right place to support customer demand.
  • Drive backorders down by transferring materials to different DC’s as needed.
  • Review stock transfer order building processes and determine correct processes to reduce past due transfers along with quantity discrepancies.
  • Resolve transfer order discrepancies in collaboration with distribution.
  • Update and distribute reports related to transfers including on time delivery, past due STO’s, and others as required.
  • Manage inventory levels to support service targets, including setting safety stocks and monitoring fill rates.
  • Identify and communicate risk to the business based on shortages in supply, capacity constraints, labor constraints, or logistics issues.
  • Come up with solutions to barriers for meeting customer needs quickly and communicate these to the business.
  • Prioritize production based on changing customer demand or needs of the business.
